By donating to EFA you can help us to create sustainable employment, giving the poor an empowering and effective means to lift themselves out of poverty.
There are three ways to donate to EFA:
- Help build institutional capacity with unrestricted funding. This will fund EFA's growth including new offices and working capital increases.
- Increase our sustainable investment rate with donations to our charitable revolving fund PEAK I. Your donation will be invested again and again in small businesses in Africa to create employment for the poor. This fund aims to break even or make a small surplus which is recycled into further investments, and is used to make smaller investments and to invest in new areas where risks are not yet fully understood.
- Fund training for prospective or existing customers with donations to our training budget. We are currently seeking $350,000 donations to develop a customer training scheme. Your donation will help to subsidise skills training and mentoring schemes to help our customers grow further, creating even more jobs for the poor and making existing jobs even more secure.
In the UK: donate online with JustGiving and allow us to reclaim Gift Aid.
In the US: make a tax-efficient donation with American Fund for Charities.
You can also sponsor a specific business; in this case, your donation will ensure that a specific business receives funding; as your sponsored business repays, this will go into the PEAK I fund to finance further investments. Alternatively, you can become a Friend of EFA by committing to donate at least $500 a year over four years through any of these channels.
