Support Equity for Africa
We need funds to make investments and for fundraising and fund management expenses. We are registered as a charity, so donations will qualify for tax relief. US taxpayers can also donate through the American Fund for Charities. None of the founders of EFA are receiving any payment for the work they do. In fact, they themselves made significant donations.
We have been supported by the UK's Department for International Development (DFID) and by a number of major sponsors, including the former chairman of a large UK development agency. We are seeking other major sponsors, to make donations in excess of £5000.
We are also looking for Friends of EFA, who commit to donate at least £100 per year over four years.
