Equity for Africa is a social business which invests $2,000 to $75,000 in private enterprises excluded from finance, aiming to create sustainable employment while generating a return for our investors.

Social investment currently focusses on tiny short-term microloans, or on much larger "SME fund" investments in a few high potential businesses. Ordinary grassroots enterprises have been overlooked, but offer high job creation rates and mass-market potential.

We have developed a low-cost approach to reach this market at scale, with an equipment finance product tailored to business needs.
